This Privacy Policy explains how Stanchion Systems Ltd (“Stanchion”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal data. We are the data controller for the information described here. We are committed to handling your data lawfully and transparently under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you complete our contact or quote form, or email us, we collect your name, email address, and any details you choose to provide — such as your preferred broker, the strategies you’re interested in, and your message.
  • Service information. If you become a client, we hold the details needed to deliver the service — for example your VPS configuration, the strategies installed, and any Myfxbook account IDs you ask us to track. We never ask for, and do not need, your broker login or withdrawal credentials.
  • Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting may log standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running. We use Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms to prevent spam, which processes limited technical signals to tell humans from bots.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiries and prepare quotes.
  • To provide, configure, monitor and support your service.
  • To send service-related communications (for example setup updates, monitoring alerts, and where you’ve opted in, monthly performance reports).
  • To meet our legal, accounting and security obligations.

3. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of: your consent (when you contact us); performance of a contract (to deliver the service you’ve engaged); and our legitimate interests (to operate, secure and improve our business). You can withdraw consent at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary to deliver the service or meet our obligations, including with: VPS and data-centre providers; email and IT providers; Cloudflare (spam protection); and our accountants or professional advisers. Performance data for managed accounts is published on our public Live Results page via Myfxbook — this shows the account name and trading statistics only, not your personal contact details. Where you follow a referral link to a broker or strategy author, that third party processes your data under their own privacy policy.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed for the site and its security to function (including Cloudflare Turnstile). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

6. Data retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Client and financial records are kept for as long as required by law (for example for accounting and tax purposes). We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

9. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its “last updated” date, is always available on this page.
